Weddings contribute approximately £6 million annually to Carmarthenshire’s economy, with over 560 weddings held in the county each year and strong potential for further growth. The Carmarthenshire Wedding Showcase, taking place on 20 January 2026 at the spectacular Great Glasshouse, National Botanic Garden of Wales, will bring together suppliers, venue managers, wedding coordinators, tourism professionals, and registrars for a dynamic day of networking, collaboration, and business development.
The event will also feature free, hands-on workshops and seminars, designed to help businesses refine their offerings, improve visibility, and make the most of Carmarthenshire’s growing reputation as a premier wedding destination.
The aim of the showcase is to strengthen the local wedding supply chain, ensuring more wedding spend stays in the county while creating greater opportunities for local creators, venues, and service providers.
